21. A couple of things...

#1 - I made sure I watched about 20 of his videos on Youtube so I knew exactly what to expect in terms of interruptions and snide remarks. I even got comfortable listening to his voice.

#2 - I prepared for about 16 hours over the last 72 hours. At the last minute, they threw me a monkey wrench and said they would have a Democrat speaking against me, but that really didnt matter. I was prepared with everything I could as far as research was concerned. Some of the thanks for that goes to people here on DU.

#3 - I knew I would only get a few chances to get in something and I had a couple of key phrases I wanted to get in there. Thats all I needed. I heard what he said but only listened enough to know which of the key phrases I could use in response.
