Hoekstra(R-MI): Obama deserves credit for rescue
It wasn’t a matter of if Somalian pirates would be taken out by U.S. Navy snipers, U.S. Rep. Peter Hoekstra said, but when.

“When you’ve got three guys in a rowboat, they’re dead. It’s just a matter of when,” Hoekstra said during an interview with the Free Press editorial board this morning
...

Hoekstra, the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, said President Barack Obama, who authorized the action taken against the pirates, should get the credit for the rescue operation.

“Because he’d get all the flack if it didn’t go well,” Hoekstra said. “We should be willing to stand against them and take them out.”

2. glad he is able to acknowledge the truth.
If this had failed it would have been Obama's failure to the Republicans. They look silly if they cant give him the praise since it succeeded.

3. The GOP silence on this has been very interesting
Aside from a half-assed statement from Newt and some other weak-sauce comments, very quiet.
