Well sir, I'm sure we can accommodate you and your other anti-federal government buddies like Standford up there in South Carolina and good old Bobby over there in Louisiana. Let's just move everything that has to do with the evil federal government right on out of that there state of Texas. You know, all the Aerospace stuff, we'll take in here up north or some other such place that isn't Texas or Louisiana or South Carolina. I'm sure there are billions of dollars in federal aid being soaked up by those independent minded Texans, and Louisiana folks and all them patriots and states rights fellas in South Carolina.
Funny how that goes. All these irate governors just pushin' back all that stimulus stuff so they can get their face time on Fox and CNBC. I reckon they are all just itchin' to get going on that presidential dream. They sure can shovel it while they lay the ground work for their runs against President Obama.
Speaking of shovelin' it, how come that Sarah Plain and Palin ain't gettin' more face time? She was pretty pissed off at Washington too if my memory serves me. Are they tossin' any tea bags in the Bering Strait? Watch out Putin, them anti-oxidants might get ya.
Boy o boy, these guys are tryin' so hard to look like they are one of us. Not wearin' ties so we don't confuse them with those evil Washington Dumbocrats cause everyone knows ties are just evil incarnate.
You know what's real funny about all this. According to the CNN, 3/4 of the people want the government to spend money to get us out of this mess. They just want to make sure the spending goes back down when we don't need to stimulate any more. Boy, that doesn't sound right. You know stimulus and going up and then coming down. There is some kinda innuendo goin' on here. But I just can't think of a more folksy way to express how I feels.
Now who do you trust more to stop the government from growing down the road when we need to stop stimulating? The GOP? Not on your life. If the past three republican presidents are any indication, hell we mid as well throw in the towel on that idea of fiscal responsibility. When they get their hands on that government money they just start acting like drunken sailors on shore leave.
No sir, just give me a no nonsense guy like President Obama to keep an eye on the bottom line. You can take your supply side voodoo economics and practice it down in Texas or Louisiana or South Carolina. Come to think of it, all them states got some mighty big ports. Maybe they just take their cue from those sailors getting off the boat for the first time in ten months.
Oh well, toss a tea bag for me. Get yourself all worked up into a real right wing lather. Then while you're out playing patriot, I think me and that 3/4 of the country that seems to feel like I do will just let the adults take care of the economic situation.
