Freepers estimate today's attendances: Comedy gold. Weather a BIG factor.
Boise, Idaho - 2500. In the rain and wind, sub 50 degrees btw

Duluth Mn - Paper reports 700. I think more like 1000. For one thing people were coming and going the whole time. If you counted the people who spent SOME time there I bet it was more like 1200

Too bad the MSM isn’t in charge of estimating. The numbers would be in the millions already.

About a 1000 in Austin Texas.

We just got back from our rally in the state capitol of Washington state (Olympia). We are guessing a couple thousand, maybe three thousand were in attendance. My friend who works at the capitol said they haven't seen a bigger crowd.

Salt Lake City at the Federal Bldg. in the mid 30s and snowing. I originally estimated at least 1000, but I was at the back and to one side. Andyman was more centrally located in the crowd. His estimate is 3000. Given the pictures he took, he’s probably closer than I am.

Salt Lake City Utah - t.v. news reported “100’s & 100’s.”

Nashville - Afterward, while leaving, I approached a small group of law enforcement at the scene to thank them for what they do, for what they do everyday for us. The officer closest to me kept a poker face while slowly turning out the inside flap of his jacket where he’d safety-pined.........a TEA BAG! He and the other officers laughed and said they were with us all the way.

I attended Philadelphia's party. I estimated 700 at 1:00p but many people were stopping by for brief periods which suggeste that possibly 1,000 atended. The Stinky Inky (AKA the Bankrupt Philadelphia Inquirer) estimated 200 people with 20 hand drawn signs. The police were in attendance and very cordial with the crowd. One officer commented to me that this was not a crowd they expected any trouble from. He was correct. There were no overturned cars, broken store windows or looters. It was a cold, rainy day in Philly. Actually, a second party is scheduled for Saturday at the Liberty Bell. Fox news also estimated “several hundred”.

Georgetown, Delaware noon to 2 pm. 200+ people: 47 degrees, rain, windy

I made it to the rally in Jefferson City, MO at the capital. A couple of hundred people at 3:00 when it kicked off. Hopefully the final tally was much more than that.

I am guessing here...haven’t seen any links elesewhere to Jacksonville, FL....1500, the news said 1000 but it sure seemed way more. ?

Santa Rosa California had about 200-300+ people at its zenith.

Pasquotank County (NC) Courthouse at 5:30PM - 200+ in windy, cold drizzle.

There were a lot more people to the north and south of the stage that my pictures did not show. I might revise my numbers down to 2500 because of the extra space taken up with umbrellas and signs, but no further than that:

Clarksburg, WV - VA Park from 12:00 - 1:00. Approximately 300 people. Since it was cold and raining, I was surprised to see that many people

50-75 Willoughby, Oh 30-50 Eastlake Oh (hard to track as they come and went over the 2 hours

Bangor Maine paper states 300 real count around 350 -450 we marched so there were people at both ends.

Oh, I'm deferring to your estimate. I think you're a lot closer than my original estimate was. Until I saw your pictures in your earlier thread, I hadn't realized how far the crowd extended to the north, because I was on the down side of the sloped ground and on the south side. As for the umbrellas, in a lot of cases (like mine) people were standing 2-3 under one umbrella, so don't take off too many for that. Anyway, this was a whole lot more people than showed up at the March tea party. Thanks again for the photos!

We had at least 500-1000 in Deland, FL. One disruptor who wore a tshirt with the n-word on it. I’m sure they asked him to leave. Obnoxious.

Remember “The Revolution will not be televised.” At least on CNN. FOX will likely cover it.

Went to Nauvoo Il. pop 1000. there were between 60 and 70 people in attendance. No broken windows or cars over turned but we did say the pledge of allegiance and sang the national anthem. Just ordinary folks no politicians.

Hubby went to Virginia Beach Tea Party, he says 2000 were there. Our liberal rag says “hundreds”, cop told hubby personally “a couple thousand” was his estimate.

A participant at the Wilmington, DE, party said her husband was at the Philadelphia one and estimated only 200. :-( Sad to hear that from the birthplace of the Republic.

Washington DC 2000-3000. Heavy rain, so probably a lower than expected turnout.

Napa, CA. We had about 50 or so at 2 pm. But it is scheduled from 8 am to 9 pm, and attendence is expected to go up in the evening. (Most gotta work for a living!) So I’ll put the number at around 450,000.

Dallas, Texas - man, I don’t know how to estimate crowds. It was big. It is a guess, but I would say 2,500? Also, when the crowd recited the Pledge of Alleigence, all the Dallas Police stood at attention and recited it with the crowd. Gotta luv Texas.

2. I saw on our Houston Chron that we had 450 here in
Pearland, TX (southern suburb of Houston; in Brazoria County which is also the home of Ron Paul). I was quite embarrassed there were even that many, but in a suburb of 80K+, and in deep red country, they are the ones who should be embarrassed. Kind of like throwing a party and no one shows ...

11. My Mom lives in Pearland!
She wants me to move there... from NYC.

I think she feels like a lonely liberal in a sea of red. ;-)

I am surprised there was a tea party event, though.

16. It's kind of a weird suburb because it's so big in size - there
is an older part and newer area, and also it's multi-cultural. A mix of old time southerners, northerners who move in & want good schools, a good amount of folks who work in the medical center & could be from anywhere in the world. I actually like it day to day, but even amongst my neighbors in a mid-range suburb there are some very conservative & very liberal... it's just a very mixed area.

We moved here for my hubby's job & I've got to admit I miss the East Coast but Pearland itself is not a bad place to live if you're going to be in Texas.

stimulus jobs going to illegal aliens. DEAL!

9. That first photo, no way are there 2500 people there.
That's Salt Lake and on the plaza of the federal building downtown. The plaza is fairly small and I'd say there aren't more than 1,500 there.

You could fit 10,000 teabag parties into one of these ....

And STILL have room for more .....

(75,000 in Portland Oregon - ONE STOP during the campaign .. read it and weep)
