16. Frenchie, you have to visit some of the Caribbean islands when
you get the opportunity, you would be amazed at the hospitality and I know for a fact, President Obama is a hero there.

Love the pictures of your two girls, they must be beautiful young ladies now and you sure are a proud mom.

6. Jackeens, what would we do without you?
Be depressed I guess.

I hope Zelaya, after acting so warm and welcoming to President Obama (above), doesn't pull a two-faced Nicholas Sarkozy and criticize him after he's gone as weak, indecisive, and inexperienced.

13. Port-Of-Spain is going absolutely crazy for Barack!
I can't tell you how much this means for Trinidad. Coverage for him there is definitely Beatle-esque. My family back home is on cloud 9, LOL

15. Hi Carmen, welcome to DU. I know how much my Trini friends are
boasting that President Obama visited T&T first and they are so proud, and am right there with them. Guyanese Canadian here.

17. It's great to have the Caribbean at center stage
Hey akbacchus! :hi: I echoed the same sense of pride when President Obama first crossed the border and hit it off with your Gov. General Jean. What a breath of fresh air.

14. I thought Arias was Dukakis at first.
But Dukakis would have aged more. What was I thinking?
