I just wanted to say how refreshing it is of the approach of Obama

and Clinton regarding how they are handling themselves on the world stage and summits with their contritions about foreign policy errors and ushering in a new era and approach. I know some here mistakingly think I do not like Obama due to my intransigence regarding Constitutional issues, torture, and the like but that would be my approach no matter who was president and won't change. That said, this Presidency is doing a remarkable job in it's approach diplomatically and in style.

1. We depend as citizens so very much on adult, respectful representation in

the international arena, and we're getting it with these two folks and we most certainly did not get it with their predecessors in the Bush administration.

2. I am thrilled myself

I was on the phone with a dem supplier of ag equipment who lives in freeperland (like most of us in ag do) and he said "How's our president Obama working out for you?" and I told him that everyday it feels as though another 50 lb boulder has been removed from my chest. He said that he felt the same way. I asked him what his normal customers had to say. He said they were all pretty quiet. He used to ask them "How's that Mr. Bush working out for you?" and there would just be silence or a groan.

3. Even though I am at odds

on a couple of issues I still am proud that Obama is representing my country on the world stage.

5. I was just talking with my mom last night about this!

I didn't realize how optimistic I am about foreign relations until I got started talking with her.
She agreed that Obama is kinda like the "dog whisperer" except for with politicians.
Hopefully you didn't feel it was necessary to post this to respond to the freeper accusations.
What is so hopeful to me is that, when he succeeds, he lends legitimacy to his (diplomatic) approach.
