One Year Ago Today...

Presidential Candidate Barack Obama was in town and shook hands with my family. It was the second of three times I got to hear him speak here. Personally I haven't been the least disappointed with him as either a candidate or as President.

1. I also have seen Barack three times---and I am thrilled with how he is doing his job!

The first time I met him was October 2004. I got to talk to him for a while(something that was no longer possible at the town hall and subsequent rally held here in Springfield last year)

I felt at that first meeting he should be President one day; and that he would be a great President.

I have never been more sure of this than right now!
