Obama to deliver address on Holocaust Remembrance Day
@ 3:57 pm by Jeremy P. Jacobs

President Obama will deliver a keynote address on Thursday at a ceremony remembering the millions of Jews that were killed in the Holocaust.

Obama's remarks will take place at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's Days of Remembrance ceremony in the Capitol Rotunda at 11 A.M., according to the museum.

Tuesday is Yom HaShoah, the Jewish holiday commemorating the death of Jews in the Holocaust. It is a national holiday in Israel.

In a statement, Fred S. Zeidman, the chairman of the museum welcomed the president to the ceremony.

"We are honored that President Obama will participate in our Days of Remembrance ceremony," he said. "At this critical moment, with hatred and antisemitism on the rise in so many parts of the world, and genocide still a reality, we are reminded of the continued relevance of the Holocaust and the urgency of its lessons."

The remarks come on the heels of a controversial speech by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in which he said Israel had a "racist government" that has committed genocide.

1. And the best way he could honor the memory of the victims
is to vigorously investigate and prosecute those who would perpetuate behaviors the world has rejected so that THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!

3. Oh, I'm following it all.
Frankly, I can't see how Holder COULDN'T be considering an Independent Counsel. And not just "considering" it. Big whoop. The law breaking is right out in plain sight for all to see. The Bush administration gets a note from their in-house memo-to-order guys to give cover for illegal acts and practices. They damn straight need LEGAL action a lot stronger than "reflection".

5. Well, you can get excited....
but Rome still won't be built on the day of your choosing.
It doesn't work like that.

But please continue on....the more who do, the better the cover.
