I'm convinced Cheney is playing chicken with DoJ and
our President. He's daring them to prosecute him/not disclose further information about torture and surveillance and thinks either the judicial or executive will chicken out. He's failed to understand that people have never been behind his "unitary executive" BS and that the nation did not embrace the concept that the DoJ is an arm of the executive. He also has failed to grasp that President Obama is not * and will not be manipulated. Cheney is insane. If ever we've had someone that close to being president who deserves prosecution and imprisonment, it is Richard Cheney.

And doing the only thing he knows how to do; attack!

Prosecutions are coming.

2. Hey, BW, how are you?
It's been a long time since I noticed you posting. I may not have been hanging out in the right places at the right times though. Hope you are well and it's good to see your moniker.

7. Doing OK. Trying to get myself employed and actually
came THIIIIISSS close this past month but the group decided to not add the position they were recruiting me for due to some uncertainty about funds. Otherwise, as my much missed brother used to say, I'm maintainin'.

Busy would be good. Stop by more often.

6. All good points in this dance around accountability and prosecution.
Seems a possible scenario, given Dick's smarmy history.

I just figured out why Cheney is going after Obama
His criticism is meant to create controversy and as a result, immunize himself from war crimes prosecution, because it would appear to be nothing more than retribution for the criticism rather than the substance of the charges themselves.

Devious Dick is just that.

5. Wrapping himself with the flag
The degree to which people cling to concepts like 'we did it for the country' is directly linked to how guilty they are.

Now he'll really be sweating it, thankfully.

10. Cheney
I think dicko is counting on all the complicit pols ensnared in this. GWB and Dick corrupted many politicians, many of whom are still serving.

If American's knew of their own representatives complicity in all of the horrors that was Bush, we'd have a revolution in this country!

I think they were wise enough to go with bipartisan complicity, also.

If Cheney is going down, he's going to drag a lot of pols with him!

11. In that case, I hope he succeeds. We deserve better
representatives and leaders than the ones we have had over the past decade. Time to take the trash out, open the windows, and disinfect the house.
