They didn't care what he was saying, they wanted to punish him, make him suffer.


Of course this would only have a theoretical value to others if it was leaked out.


So their entire line of reasoning is absurdly bare.

They wanted him on tape saying Saddam was colluding with alqueda to build a nuke so they could flout it in front of the world I am quite sure.

13. This is the most plausible explanation yet...
We all know now that BushCo was "cherry picking" intelligence to justify an invasion of Iraq. It logically follows that this same kind of "cherry picking" would be applied to torturing.

If only the victim could have given Bush/Cheney something to "cherry pick" the first 182 times, there wouldn't have been a need for a 183rd time...
