Cheney's taunting President Obama. I wonder if he's starting to think twice about that.

It reminds me of True Grit where 'Lucky' Ned Pepper talks trash to Rooster Cogburn.

"That's mighty bold talk for a one-eyed fat man!"

His luck ran out.

1. Cheney put himself in a real bind
Edited on Tue Apr-21-09 04:18 PM by Tempest
He first hinted that he filed a FOIA request, turned out to be not true.

He now is claiming he filed a request with the National Archives. He'd better hope he has connections there or he's going to get smacked down when they deny he made a request, or the request was made after he said he already made the request.

Wouldn't it be funny if the National Archives released more than what Cheney requested and released some not so flattering material about the previous administration?

3. If he thinks Poppy Bush did away with all the evidence pointing to him,
he's nuts. Poppy only cares about George and if it takes a trail leading to Cheney to divert attention from his idiot son, then by god there will BE a trail.

4. George the First used to head the CIA, and I am certain he still has a lot of clout there.
He is not the guy to fuck with.
You know he is not above using anything he can.

5. I don't think Cheney is bothering President Obama as much as he
imagines that he is. nt
