46. Apparently Someone Didn't Want Religious Symbols at a Civil Event

Think about it...

They keep running with this "Obama Thinks He's God" theme.

So, if the president appears with religious symbols in the background, they would actually have more to complain about.

It's damned if you do, damned if you don't with these people.

9. I'm curious, too. I never heard about asking that Jesus be covered.
When did this happen? Who asked? If this truly happened, it would have the Repugs in perpetual orbit. Sounds like a Glen Beck expose to me.

35. The founding fathers were neither capitalists or evangelicals.

Of course that is not an argument that being either would be appropriate or not appropriate now.

Both the modern evangelical movement and capitalism were started after the founding fathers were in the ground, with the exception of Madison who lived long enough to see the begining merging of the elitist form of capitalism that he cherished.

We're all paying for her to stand up there and blather on about something that has no relevance to legislation of any kind. What the hell? Why can't she go on her religious crusade on her own time, instead of wasting the public's dime?

In other words: Do your fucking job, Lady. Go to church on your own time.
