That's just not toppable or answerable by any apologist. I haven't seen it deployed anywhere near as much as it should be. For instance, who has asked this of Pat Buchanan, ubiquitous Republican spokesmodel who was actually a member of the Reagan administration?

I'm sure there are a lot more Republicans who worship at the alter of St. Ronnie who should be asked this regularly. It was ILLEGAL and CRIMINAL under Reagan and it remains so today. And no, 9/11 didn't change that.

1. Do you have a link or two for this? I'm not aware of the facts here. Thanks.

5. Also take note that Bush didn't pardon a police officer who was convicted of waterboarding.

When he was the so-called governor of Texas. Texas sheriff, James Parker.

That was on either Olbermann or Rachel's show last night. I don't know the circumstances.

A quick Google brings up this. I know, it's Leopold, but I won't judge on that.

edit- Actually it looks like not pardoning him isn't the issue. It's that they didn't site this case when making their decision to call waterboarding ok.
