4. one funny thing on the Steele front
was that when Tedisco spoke on election night, the first person he thanked was Steele. But then afterwards, a local news reporter pulled him aside and asked him if he thought the RNC hurt his campaign, and he said something to the effect of "Um, no, but my campaign really got better when I took control of it".

17. Why am I not surprised?
This was a race Steele was bragging about how he's gonna START by winning this election. Well, he LOST. Sorry, Steele!

5. LOL. I guess the so called referendum on Obama's presidency means he has been
a successful President so far.

19. Yeah. FIRST it was supposed to be STEELE'S first test, but then the line turned into
it would be OBAMA'S first test. But Obama's guy WON and Steele's guy LOST. NOW how will they spin it?

20. I just saw Scott Murphy
interviewed on local tv. His smile was huge and he's going to get to work to make up for his District being without representation for 3 months.. but first, he's going out to celebrate tonight with his family(his wife and 3 little kids, 4,5, and 8 years) at Pizzaria Uno!

16. AWESOME!!
:bounce::fistbump: I remember being over at my sister's house in the Adirondacks on that Tuesday of voting day in the 20th District and she had the local news on..blaring that this was a referendum on Obama and every 10 minutes there was a negative ad against Scott Murphy and AIG!!

I was bummed and my sister said.."don't worry, tedisco won't win..they tried the same thing with Gillibrand and she won".:) I chose to have my doubts and came home to get on DU where there was a lot of positive feedback on Murphy winning this thing(thanks, Rhiannon:))

Thanks, jenmito!:hi:
