And the Winner is::::> Scott Murphy
CNN) -- It took nearly a month, but Democrat Scott Murphy has won the battle for New York's 20th Congressional District.

Republican James Tedisco conceded Friday and called Murphy to offer congratulations.

The race was too close to call after the March 31 election. But as absentee and overseas ballots poured in over the past few weeks, Murphy's lead grew.

3. LOL That is the way it's done alright.
The guy with the least votes congratulates the guy with the most votes.

Coleman is a stupid weasel (my apologies to the furry kind).

4. I just saw Scott Murphy on local
tv and he was Beaming! Talking about all the work he needed to do to get his 20th District caught up to speed but tonight is cause for celebration with his family(wife and 3 little kids) and they're going out to Pizzaria Uno:party::9

I must say..Jim Tedisco seems quite gracious in his concession speech..and probably hoping to fight another day.
