"Foxwire: Obama golfs, HHS has no Secretary, Swine flu response"
Vacuous FauxWhores, out of ideas, are trying desperately to turn this into Obama's "My Pet Goat" moment.

2. Oh no they didn't. . .at least Obama is in DC during a crisis. . .
. . .Bush would have been in Crawford for a month. Also, it should be noted if it were up to the GOP it would be a long while before we have a confirmed Secretary of HHS.

3. And why isn't there a HHS Secretary?
Because the Republicans have been blocking the nomination, that's why.

4. Has anyone died here in the United States as a result of this flu?
Is he supposed to micromanage everything?

Are these folks just looking for any excuse.

Why doesn't he have a HHS Secretary? Perhaps the GOP needs to look in the mirror.

6. Yeah some reporter was trying to do the same during the
press conference even though it was stated that the President is being updated every few hours. That just because there is no Secretary doesn't mean people aren't doing their jobs. It was ridiculous. Everything that should be done is being done.

7. NOTHING can be compared to Bush's "My Pet Goat" moment...
FOX News may think it can do this, but Bush's inaction on 9/11 speaks volumes to his lack of leadership, overall incompetency, and complicity in allowing that disaster to happen.

The next time FOX News or some other media whores tries to show Obama as "out of touch," just show them this:

Mr. President, America is under attack...

Mr. Bush responds...

8. How freaking Ironic that fauxn00ze is the
republicon base of the idiots who won't confirm Kathleen Sebelius as President Obama's HHS.

Cabinet
GOP Stymies Vote on Sebelius
Updated 2:05 p.m.
By Ceci Connolly

"President Obama will have to wait a bit longer to round out his Cabinet. Senate Republicans refused today to allow a confirmation vote on his health secretary nominee Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (D-Kan.). She is the last Cabinet member awaiting Senate approval.

At the start of the session today, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) proposed taking a vote after five hours of debate. But Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) objected, arguing that lawmakers needed more time to consider her "fairly contentious" selection.

A handful of Republicans have complained about Sebelius' support for abortion rights and her failure to report the full extent of campaign contributions she received from a physician who performs abortions.

Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) opposes Sebelius because of the Obama administration's support for research on the comparative effectiveness of disease treatments. He said he fears the evidence-based approach, coupled with information on price, could lead to rationing of care."

10. Our previous WH resident did nothing BUT ride around in a golf cart until we
got hit on 9/11........which could have been prevented had he taken the time to read the urgent memo sent by France, Germany and Russia, that "a big one" was coming, but he chose to stay the month of August out on the ranch chopping wood ............disgraceful!

11. Okay are you ready for this.. I went to FR to look at their thread on swine flu..
and I am not even sure how to explain this.. they start off railing against the president and not having a HHS secretary, when someone further down the thread points out that Sebelius is up for confirmation next week..

Well that thread took a hard right, and turned itself upside down on its head, and now (according the freepers in said same thread) this is how Obama is going to slam Sebelius through to confirmation.

What are they thinking, that Obama and us went to Mexico to start a world wide pandemic to get Sebelius confirmed.

No wonder we are in the shape we are in this country with such delusional people having had the keys of power for 8 years. It is a wonder we are still a country
