3. You're right. It is. I guess I'm so tired of them attacking him/us.
Perhaps it should have read "GOP ends Obama's bipartisanship efforts"

10. Excellent Point
The problem (as other people have already pointed out but which bears repeating) is that the news story was critical of Obama NOT the "I want Obama to fail" GOP. If CNN considers what the GOP (aside from Specter, Snowe, and Collins) has been doing since the election "attempted bipartisanship", then............well, words fail me.

2. I hope they mention the Pubs were invited to join in discussions not once but 5364758 times
by President Obama and staff to no avail.

The GOP is determined to be Obstructionists in the hopes of watching Obama FAIL....Rush and many others openly desire this...

The Chinese Term for this action is IN Trans E Gant.. the Pubs think its best for their Party not to help Obama cept for some small effort just to look like they CARE...

They speak of bipart-- but never ever entered their foggy minds to actually help....they are Spoiled Bullies who demand their way or go home to mama and whine....widdle kids they are...stuck in 6th grade

7. It actually began with the Paulson/Bernanke bailout
When they Republicans voted against a measure proposed by Bush simply because they knew Democrats would be dumb enough to vote for it.

And by "it," I mean the current wave of asinine Republican partisanship, or at least its latest manifestation.

9. That's a completely true statement.
Are they characterizing that as Obama's fault or the obstructionist fringe GOP's fault?

11. Republicans don't know the meaning of bipartisanship.
Even as a minority party, they still think it means "our way or the highway." Their strategy boils down to this: They see no political advantage in cooperating with Obama's agenda, so they will oppose everything he does and hope it fails so they can take credit for opposing it.
