It's about her recycling her wardrobe. Yeah, I know it's an aol poll. But it's not bad...

1. This is why Hillary and even moreso Laura wore the black suit.
Laura wore the Hillary uniform more than Hill did. Complete with Wayfarers.

It was scandal that Eleanor Roosevelt didn't change clothes a couple of times a day. The head usher often noted in his log that every time he saw her in the course of a day she would be in the same thing looking more rumpled.

It was also scandal that she would use just two dresses to get through the DC social season. At her press conferences reporters would ask her what she was wearing to a specific event and she's turn to her secretary and ask, "am I wearing the blue one or the black one?"

The more things change, the more they stay the same. For women.

2. Cute article
Actually, I think Michelle Obama is setting a great example to the nation--thrifty women have always recycled their wardrobes, and now it is "in" to do so because of Michelle.

3. She is setting an example. While she wants to look chic, she doesn't want to come across
as extravagant. She's too savvy for that...

and has an identity. First ladies who just pose and are basically just clothes hanger background props are annoying royalty wanna-bees.

We have a FLOTUS who exists OFF the pages of fashion magazines and is here with us in the real world! :woohoo:

Viva Michelle!

6. A wingnut friend of mine cited "The First Lady's Fashion Show..."
.... as further proof of what he perceives to be extreme left wing media bias.

It must suck to have supported the wrong side. :)
