Old "apples and oranges" comparison dragged out again...
Tamron Hall asked Sheryl Stolberg from the NY Times what she thinks about the future of Obama's approval in light of his approval numbers now and she said, "Well, nothing DOES last forever. If you'll remember, when President Obama was inaugurated, his approvals were astronimical! They were something like in the 80s so now we've seen a slip down to 68% and that's not surprising. Once a president is in office he makes decisions, they can be controversial, so we MIGHT see that popularity erode further..."

So she dragged out the old lie that he "slipped" from the high 80s. It's been pointed out over and over that his 80s number was for his personal approval-not his job ratings which hadn't started yet, which she's using in her example to show that he "slipped." :eyes:
