2. Big deal.
I've never understood why all networks broadcast the same thing. Like this speech or the state of the union address.

It's like all networks showing the Super Bowl. As long as one major network shows it, everyone who wants to watch it will be able to.

6. I just look at it like a show of respect to preempt. A realization that
what your president is saying is more important than Ugly Betty

9. True, but economic issues might tip them to getting the ad revenue instead.

7. Fixed Noise? Faux Snooze? Or just the Flailing RNC Channel...
On their site:

FOX News' week-long series marking the 100th day of the Obama administration offers a variety of original stories, videos, polls and FOX Forum op-eds.

FOXNews.com will have daily coverage, including looks at national security, economic and social policy, image-building, appointments, the politics of leadership and the role of first lady Michelle Obama. Also check out videos from FOX News correspondents on a variety of topics, including the growth of government, the significance of the first 100 days, and other features.

Oh, yeah... except the President in a NATIONAL NEWS CONFERENCE...

Fair and Balanced, my patootie. As part of their "coverage", look at the sidebar with the videos and see the RNC-tainted talking points spewing like puss in the descriptions:

Obama's Apology Tour
Defcon 3: Obama's 'whirlwind' world tour has little tangible effect on our country

Obama's Outreach
President Obama extends a hand to the Muslim world. Will they 'unclench their fists'?

I ain't providing the link. Friends don't let friends hit Freeper links.

10. I hear that the aren't doing much
On his 100 days either. Of course I am willing to bet that if the public had given him some really bad numbers they would have been all over it trying to bash him! These idiots at Fox, the so called "fair and balanced" network, are acting like little kids who lost the ball game so they are taking their ball and going home!

14. However our local Fox affiliate WGHP is airing it.
They're moving "Don't Lie To Me" to midnight, and taking the Presidential address at 8pm.

There's plenty of good reasons why WGHP did this - they got a local news battle to fight it out, so since news is a strategic part of the channels' programming, they decided to pre-empt the network.

Mark.

17. It's stupid for more than one or two networks to show it.
Many people would rather watch something else.
