1. B+ or A-
If it's based on our expectations, then the B+. If based on the realities in Washington, then A-.

2. He has exceeded my expectations
On many levels. I didn't think he would get near this much done, or even started, in the first 100 days.

6. The Presidency is NOT a term paper!
This is a bit more complicated than that.

I give him an A-.... not perfect, not everything this voter wanted, but in some areas more than I could have expected.

As one who has graded term papers, essays, exams, and quizzes for a few years, I am always willing to give an A of some sort, when the major issues are addressed, when I get more than expected in some areas, and less in others.

I would have made sure we didn't fly planes over NYC, and that the President gave a copy of the US Constitution to Chavez, and that Michelle hadn't worn such an ugly outfit one day....(I hope you catch my sarcasm).

13. a Presidential decision on Day 50
is every bit as real as a Presidential decision on Day 750.

Given the current crises, his early decisions may be MORE important than those he makes later in his term.

8. B+, A- ...
He's had a few problems ... but the scope of the URGENT issues he's faced starting on DAY ONE ... make any problems he's had almost meaningless.

9. B+; close to an A- based on what he inherited
It's more inaction that has led to the B+ instead of A than his actions.

His foreign policy has so far been better than I expected

His handling of the banks has been worse

I'll give him more time on the torture issue. It's only been 100 days, so I'll wait to grade him more harshly. If nobody is indicted for torture, this goes to a D.

16. I would have given him an A+ if there was one.
I had no idea he would be this good when I voted for him, and I am happy every day to see the GOP retaining their self-destructive evil stupidity and Obama letting them do it!

Great job, Mr. President!

23. I gave him an A this time
I fluctuate between B+ and A-. Not perfect but way on the right track and what at least I expected, even on the bad days. On the good days, I'm pinching myself that this actually happened in this jacked up country.

30. You sure are pushing RW talking points
Global warming supporters are now having a hard time explaining why the climate over the last 10 years is beginning to cool. 1998 typically serves as the benchmark for the warmest year on record for global temperatures. Since 1998, temperatures have decreased.

Edited on Thu Apr-30-09 08:47 PM by karynnj
They take the HIGHEST year on record and then use the fact that all the later ones are lower. Gee, my daughter learned in algebra 2 how to get the regression line through data. The slope would still be up over the interval.
