I am so grateful that he is in the White House.
I feel so much more confident that we can tackle our problems now that he is at the helm.

4. He is the very definition of a great leader. He communicates adequately,
so we have enough information to be confident in his ability to keep us safe. And I don't mean the Bush era faux "safety" that they kept shoving down our throats.

Obama has such an even tone usually. McCain would drive me crazy with his little fits of rage. I wouldn't want him talking to foreign leaders.

Mr. Jane Austin saw a big change in my mood right after the Not-State of the Union address.

I loved the speech, but what gave me a sense of relief was that the polls showed the people gave it high marks, but so did the press.

I was astonished and pleased.
