Obama's First (Fore!) Hundred Days
Edited on Wed Apr-29-09 10:59 PM by Jennicut

With all the hoopla and all-too-serious contemplation surrounding this early milestone, we thought we'd have some fun instead. ... Remember how Bush gave up golf (and switched to biking) in solidarity with wartime troops? No such posturing now.

Not sure anyone has any insight on Obama's technique, but I doubt Tiger has anything to worry about. Clearly though, Obama and Biden -- out there putting with their ties on -- are setting up this scene for all kinds of irony. Besides the WH posed as an exclusive country club, the putting green offer a real contrast to the new vegetable garden.

This photo comes from the White House Flickr feed, the offerings there being decidedly looser than the images on the WH website. Overall, I think the point is to communicate -- is complete contrast to the previous occupants -- that TeamObama is in no danger of taking itself too seriously.http://www.bagnewsnotes.com/2009/04/obamas-first-fore-hundred-days.html (from a progressive blog).

Pretty funny! Out there with their ties on, taking a break.

Here is a pic of them walking back in after:
