1. I will predict now that Burr will move into the toss-up or expected loss
by election day. And, he will lose.

4. 2010?

No! Go away! Shoo!! Get out of here!!! I don't want to think about it!

We just got over a grueling 2 year campaign.

We need to go back to the olden days when campaigns did not even start until the Labor Day before the election.

12. Our likeliest pickups lie in NH, NC, and MO.
Potential losses in IL (if the nominee is Burris...otherwise, you'll see Obama campaign personally for the nominee), DE (apparently, Mike Castle's pretty popular, and if he runs...), and CT (Dodd...goddamnit).

6. Once we get a nominee in Illinois (other than Burris), can we move that to "Safe"?
Also, will Lunsford or Beshear run for Bunning's seat in KY?

What's the chance that Mike Castle will poach Biden's old seat in Delaware? That would be embarrassing.

And when did Blanche Lincoln's seat move to "Safe"? I thought she was under a lot of heat?

Burris might pull off a win in a split multi-way primary.

8. The guy has like eight dollars for reelection
and no significantly-sized fundraising outfit will touch him he's so radioactive.

You can bet the White House won't go near him, either.

13. How many other candidates are there for Obama's old seat?
I know of only one--Giannoulias...but I heard rumblings about Jan Schakowsky. Madigan's running for governor, so she's not gonna do it.

14. We might be in trouble in Delaware, it looks like Castle is going to run there
Castle is about the only republican in the entire state who could be a threat to us statewide. He's been elected governor twice before, and I think to like 9 terms in the house. Rumors are that he's seriously considering a senate run, and leaning that way. To Castle, at the age of 70, this is like a once in a lifetime chance for him to be a senator.

17. Depending on how much and how often Democrats in the Senate sell everyone out
I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Democrats at -2 or -3.

And when it come right down to it, when you scan the above list- there are about 4 or 5 Democrats that, depending on the issue are corrupt to the core and have been no better than Republicans.

18. I'm praying that Bunning runs in Kentucky. Unless the dems get into
a very mean-spirited primary fight, the dem will defeat Bunning. He almost lost last time to Mongiardo, when the latter began with 25% name recognition.
