My MINIMUM expectation for healthcare: a non-watered down public option
Available to anyone who wants to enroll.

No "triggers"

No Schumer "compromises" which guarantee failure of the public option such as: no public funding, regulated like a private plan, no mandate for providers to accept, etc.

Why is the concern of SO MANY ELECTED REPS more about how to keep the profiteers in, rather than the general welfare of their electorate? Why do they IGNORE the clearly stated desire of so many people to HAVE A CHOICE besides the existent teratagen that calls itself "health insurance" that bankrupts and leaves hopeless so many?

I suggest we all email our Reps with our own MINIMUM expectations of what we want to see come out of these deliberations. I suspect most of us here are for a either REAL public option or Single Payer. The point is to tell them that a status quo preserving sop pretend reform will get them a one way ticket out of office.
