I'm really afraid of Obama failing now. There is no way I can take these loons seriously. I would go crazy if they get back in power any time soon.

6. H20 Man's primer on Newt.....
In case the media DOES put him on a pedestal and conveniently forgets his history, here's a good primer:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x5695711

Don't forget his "moral failings" -- as the right-wingers would label it -- including being in the midst of an affair at the same time he was leading the impeachment charge against Clinton.

Palin, Limbaugh and Gingrich are jokes, but they really whip up their lunatic base. The M$M giving them credibility as "leaders" is the scariest part of it all, as most people have VERY short-term memories.

8. Let him talk...he's nuts, and the more he talks, the more he shows
people just how looney he is.

A man that was drummed out of office...Speaker of the House no less, for his own moral failings lecturing others on morality is something right out of the Batshit Crazy Zone...:D

The more Gingrich, Limbaugh, Ingram, Coulter, Beck, Hannity, O'Reilly and the rest of the screech monkey's squeal...the more R's they drive away from the GOP. What is left is a core of insane ideologues that cannot even muster enough votes to get a manager for a Little League BB team.

They are the very seeds of their own destruction...:D

9. "And a rock feels no pain ... and an island never cries...."
Edited on Tue Jun-09-09 09:16 AM by Clio the Leo
ha ha! You keep on with it Bro. Newt....

A winters day
In a deep and dark december;
I am alone,
Gazing from my window to the streets below
On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow.
I am a rock,
I am an island.

Ive built walls,
A fortress deep and mighty,
That none may penetrate.
I have no need of friendship; friendship causes pain.
Its laughter and its loving I disdain.
I am a rock,
I am an island.

Dont talk of love,
But Ive heard the words before;
Its sleeping in my memory.
I wont disturb the slumber of feelings that have died.
If I never loved I never would have cried.
I am a rock,
I am an island.

I have my books
And my poetry to protect me;
I am shielded in my armor,
Hiding in my room, safe within my womb.
I touch no one and no one touches me.
I am a rock,
I am an island.

And a rock feels no pain;
And an island never cries.
