watched the video of her appearance on the Today Show and for her to say we'd be naive to believe that he was talking about Bristol is ridiculous.

She was the daughter that got pregnant, thats why he did the joke. Like most people, we kind of all forgot that she had another daughter. But its pretty despicable the way she on purpose doesnt believe Letterman's explanation, kind of like when Obama made the lipstick on a pig reference and she thought he called her a pig

You know, though i laughed (because I'm a bad bad person), for Letterman's job as a late night host on a major network, Id agree that his jokes were probably in bad taste (more so the slutty one), but I just cant feel any sympathy for her and her family because of the way she reacts. The only person who was exploiting a children was her, her 14 year old girl

She's a vile human being.

Personally, I think Letterman is doing a little CYA by saying that he meant the joke for the 18 yo daughter instead of the 14 yo daughter. Since it was the 14 yo who had attended that game, most people who knew that would assume that the joke was about her and not the sister, who had not been there.
