Bush to pull Troops from Iraq in 2005 - Why? DUH! To Invade IRAN!!!!
Edited on Mon Sep-20-04 05:36 PM by jackstraw45
Bush PULLED the troops early from Afghanistan to invade Iraq.

Now, it makes sense that Bush will pull troops from Iraq to invade IRAN in 2005.

Duh. Wake up, fellow DU'ers! Iran is launching a new OIL exchange next year that will be a threat to western control of the oil markets.

Iran takes on west's control of oil trading

How else can Bush and his Neocon puppetmasters invade Iran with all the troops in Iraq?

Dim-Son is war hungry and this whole Iraq war is getting frustrating for him so he wants to pick up is soldier toys and plop them down in a fresh killing zone like Iran.

Just wait for the "Gulf of Tonkin" type incident in October, November or December.....

1. Wouldn't that be a push out of the troops? Yes, that was my thought
too. Just keep moving them forward throughout the Middle East.

2. Remember what troops were ordered to do FIRST in Iraq: protect the oil
Edited on Mon Sep-20-04 05:40 PM by jackstraw45
Oil fields were the first order of business in Iraq. We were TOLD it was to pay for reconstruction but the American taxpayer has paid over $200 BILLION for this war and the only ones making a profit have been the war profiteers like Haliburton and GE.

It's ALL about the oil which equals $$$$ for the BFEE.

EVERYTHING else is a smokescreen.

It's all about the mighty dollar and our troops and hundreds of Iraqis are being KILLED every day for oil.

3. If the troops are first pulled from Iraq. . .
from where will the invasion of Iran be staged?

You may do well to read up on military tactics and procedures to learn why withdrawal from a neighboring land with no comparable replacement would not be in the interests of an invading force. So we are either withdrawing from Iraq, or we are invading Iran, or we're just staying put. . . those are the only three options.

4. Iran in Bush's Bullseye? Yep.
I'm concerned about this, I think Bush will do after Iran sooner or later.

Consider the following:

The State Dept. has given Iran the honor of being the "most active state sponsor of terrorism" from 2000 to 2003. (Maybe longer, I didn't check back that far yet.)

The CIA in 2003 (and other years) has said that Iran is "vigorously" pursuing WMD and has put them at the top of the list on our list of "bad guys" with WMD.

Bush is nothing if not "resolute". He has promised not to stop until we wipe out every terrorist, blah, blah, blah...

Based on the above, why wouldn't he invade Iran?

Oh, and they have oil also. That seems to be a factor...

I have links to the official documents mentioned above and some "fact-sheets" about this on my website. Check them out at:

7. Uh...where are we building all the bases?
Seems like airstrikes on Iran FROM Iraq may be in their plans.

Withdrawing from Iraq INTO Iran is the likely scenario. I wasn't implying that they'd fly all the troops home first. Just that Iran is the next target and the US is building a homebase in Iraq for the invasion.

It's just a question of crossing the border but it would still be a withdrawal.

5. Yup, seems to be the plan.....
All the buildup about Iran's nuclear program, "clock is ticking" talk...

You know, within the last year or so, Iran announced a huge oil find, too.....

6. if we go after iran
our world will be doomed. It probably won't exist. They will fuck with us so quickly it's not even funny. Same thing with North Korea. Unlike Iraq's "army" under Saddam, NK's army of 1.4 million people will fuck with us so quickly it's not even funny
