to pay it any mind. It isn't going to change and we might as well figure that we will win without the media. Also no campaign connection. Best they can come up with is "ally". Burkett said the Kerry campaign didn't answer his call.

21. No
What Yahoo shows on it's home page is determined by the rating a story gets.

7. As long as Iraq....
is going bad the liberal media will not let the CBS Memogate die on its own....a beheading today? No big deal...lets talk about Dan Rather. We are losing control of most of iraq? No big deal. Lets talk about Dan Rather. Over 1000 soldiers dead for a lie? Who cares! Lets talk about Dan Rather!

9. no you miss the point now.
It's moving FROM Rather TO Kerry Campaign and Kerry.

They won't rest till it actually hurts Kerry. Right now, it's just CBS and Rather, they won't give it up till Kerry gets blamed for this.

with Buchanan's help to make a connection to Joe Lockhart of the Kerry campaign.

18. Where does it say Lockhart is of the Kerry campaign? Is he official
or an "ally". Which is every democrat out there stumping for him. The SBVT had actual connections to the Bush campaign. Kerry is saying what needs to be said, and that is what he should continue to do.

22. Lockhart is onboard
"Lockhart, a former Clinton administration spokesman, was brought on to the campaign last week, along with longtime political operatives John Sasso and Michael Whouley."

24. Geez people need to calm down. Let the facts work out. Quit
trying to speculate what might or might not happen. Focus on Kerry's message and helping him get it out.

20. I just turned it on....
....the producer Mapes fed info to the Kerry campaign? Something about USA today story....I've been totally out of the loop today. This is either a non-story, or Kerry needs to fire someone thinking tooo creatively.

but as soon as things are going great in Iraq (which will not happen) they will continue to give the CBS story legs and try to blame the Kerry campaign for the scandal....

away from this administration's screw ups then you can bet the repugs will try to spin it as a Kerry dirty trick.

Every 10 year old kid knows he can distract the attention of their parents from their mess ups by fabricating a story about a sibling or the dog. Rove and co are masters of making excuses and blaming someone else. The media unfortunately are little more than parrots of this trash.

17. After the election is over
the media will go on and on about how nobody covered anything of substance during the campaign. It was the same thing during the build-up to the war. Nobody was reporting anything that didn't come straight out of the white house. The media is truly pathetic.

25. hey i heard the papers where sent to kerry and he rejected them
also, they took calls. cbs had lockhardt call. she already had the story going forward before lockhardt had even gotten her call. to me this more than anything shows evidence it was all burkett and cbs and kerry had nothing to do with it

look this could have not happened and media and repugs would be doing this. i have just turned off tv
