He would most certainly have a problem being an elitist and actually visted soldiers wounded on the Battlfield at Valley Forge.
He is not the kind of fellow a person would want to hang out with and was a General and brought up his military service. My My..Rove and Bush would put out all the dirt on him. Also did he have a sexual encounter with Betsy? Oh Martha you must have been too opininated?

And James Madison?
the 4th president.....

At his inauguration, James Madison, a small, wizened man, appeared old and worn; Washington Irving described him as "but a withered little apple-John." But whatever his deficiencies in charm, Madison’s buxom wife Dolley compensated for them with her warmth and gaiety. She was the toast of Washington

1. it's beyond comprehension why ANYONE would adopt the enemy's language . .

Arnold Schwartzenegger is Arnold Schwartzenegger who has an alleged reputation of irreverence toward women. His quote about "girlie men" was absconded from an old Saturday Night Live skit parodying Arnold. This merely demonstrates that Arnold lacks the capability to let-go of parodies about himself. We, certainly, should not adopt Schwartzenegger's negativities, particularly when he slams women.

It's not humorous and should not be made humorous.

For example, here's an excellent overview about Schwartzenegger's slams:

2. I said Arnold would say that and he would...He is such a sexist pig !
Edited on Tue Sep-21-04 04:20 AM by vetwife
He has absolutely no respect for women and he would call these great patriots..Girly men and I belive that with all my heart. I don't adapt his language. Ihave been groped before and even worse so I detest Arnold and I don't use the girly man phrase but Arnold does.
Arnold thinks he is so macho by using this phrase. These patriots were not weight lifters and very distinguised and intelligent. That alone would qualify Arnold's limited vocabulary to a sexist remark of these past presidents. If they were alive today and running against Bush, Arnold would call them just that ! Rove and the GOP attack machine would look for anything to discount military combat history and even acuse him of bringing pneumonia on himself. Makes an American proud to know this is what is running the country don't you think? Its sad !
