1. I refuse to stoop that low......................
and I can only dumb myself down just so much. Seeing that most Republicans are merely one step above plant life, I cannot bring myself to such a level.

3. You apparently didn't read it.
He just means Republicans don't give up and they don't whine when a poll comes out against them. Heaven forbid you read something before commenting though... :eyes:

8. Simply being sarcastic....................

I'm in one of those moods today. Sorry if I distracted anyone from the message Moore is making. ;-) By the way, I DID read it. It's basic common sense and I really don't need to be judged by you as to my intellect or level of participation.

9. I didn't make a comment about your intellect.
Or your "level of participation". Your words weren't clearly sarcastic and since I don't know you, I don't know if you're joking unless you denote it, especially online where sarcasm does not play off so well unless it's completely and totally over the top.

5. I don't know
You can admire some things about Republicans; and their discipline is one of them. They stay focused on the task at hand and refuse to let reality get in their way. Granted that's because many of them are delusional; but we can use elements of that perseverane too.

4. He has a point
I've become more of an MM fan in the last year or so. He always seems to cheer me up. :)

The thing about the fretting and worrying...mine comes from the very real doubts that this election will be fair, that every vote will be counted as it was cast.

I'm not worried that Kerry won't legitimately win but that Bush will rig the election and steal it. The media seems to be grooming us for that very real possibility.

6. Did you read the piece?
What is in it about stooping low? He is just saying that the media is lying to the American public in both its broadcasts and polling methods and we need to get a grip. Where does it say we have to stoop low?

7. It is appalling to see the chicken little brigade
on these pages scream in terror every thirty seconds or so.

Moore is entirely right. Get a clue, folks. The GOP isn't sending out flyers to yokels saying "liberals are going to take your bibles away" because they've got any sort of lead. The flop sweat there stinks to high heaven....and instead of being confident and talking about issues and strengths, we're sitting around pissing and moaning about imaginary flaws.

When Kerry talks about the economy, we've got pisswits here moaning, "Why doesn't he talk about Iraq?" When he talks about Iraq, they switch to "Why doesn't he talk about the economy?"

We're going to win if we keep our head and stay positive.

Until he produces the receipt for pissing in a cup in Alabama, Chimpy is a wartime deserter. Until he produces 2 1/2 million jobs out of nowhere, he's Herbert Hoover Jr. Until he goes to Baghdad and gets showered with rose petals in an open car by grateful Iraqis, he's George Custer with a drinking problem.
