In my county touchscreens are the machines used. In the last local elections, several Democrats got on town councils in my area (after years of all-Republican ones). This makes me wonder if I can actually assume they're not rigging the vote here. Of course, how will I know?
Anyway, there's only a little time left to decide whether to request an absentee ballot. Is anyone knowledgeable advising voters about how to make their votes count? In my debate with myself about this, I keep running into the fact that the Republicans are trying hard to get people to vote absentee, and I'm wondering if this means that those are the ones most likely to count (or will they be thrown out if they show the "wrong" vote?).
Looking for any good argument for the best way to be counted.
