Kerry Calls Bush Incompetent, Republicans Agree, Reuters Reports It
U.S. Sen. John Kerry on Monday launched his sharpest assault yet on what he called the Republican president's "arrogance and outright incompetence" in Iraq.

Three influential Republican senators criticized mistakes in Bush's policy on Sunday and one, Senate Foreign Relations Chairman Richard Lugar of Indiana, cited "incompetence" in the U.S. failure to spend more money to reconstruct Iraq.

"The fact is, we're in deep trouble in Iraq ... and I think we're going to have to look at some recalibration of policy," Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska said on Sunday.

Sen. Joseph Biden, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, also speaking on "Good Morning America," said he was tired of the Bush administration's rhetoric on Iraq.

"We're all saying the same thing: 'Mr. President, unless you get your act together we are going to lose,"' Biden said, saying the administration has been slow to train Iraqi forces, spend U.S. reconstruction funds and enlist allies.

I think the tide is turning, folks. I think Kerry has finally hit the right note on Iraq and just in time for the debates. Bush is screwed.

1. Would someone ask Bush if he knows how many soldiers are dead today?

6. Excellent but you know what
The people that vote sympathetically for the lexicon challenged Bush will cry "It's mean playing gotcha with out imbicile...look everybody they are picking on our retard (my apologizes to all for using that term), let's kill those elitist Liberal devils!"

7. Bush is an excellent debater, well prepared and articulate
That's what I'm telling everyone. He has benefitted from low expectations long enough.

10. I agree, let's raise the bar for Bush and see if he can meet the challenge
I predict Bush will stomp all over the questions and answer ever one of them directly without politics, he'll be a straight shooter without making any ambiguous references! We'll finally know exactly what he plans to do about Iraq, how he is going to create jobs and not ship them overseas, how he will fix Medicare, how the elderly will find money for the 18% increase in Medicare, how Americans can afford drugs, how Halliburton continues to reep from this war, where he was in 72, 73? I'm sure after the debate we can all sleep at night finally knowing the answers to the proverbial questions that reporters haven't asked..but I'm DYING to know who outed Valerie Plame? I mean, didn't he say he'd make sure that person was found? I also know we'll understand why he okayed flying out Bin Ladens family on 9/13!

2. Congressional Democrats: It's called a spine. Get one!
Call a spade a spade. The pResident is an incompetent idiot who sold the entire country a bill of damaged goods. It's time for him AND EVERYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THE CRIMINAL ADMINISTRATION to take a hike, preferably into the nearest federal prison.

First we get rid of the $hrubco criminals, then we go after the accomplices in Congress. Then we take steps to make sure this crap NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN!!!

3. I do think there are signs the tide is turning
But Bush is far from screwed. He has a funny way of making tides change in his favor. That's why it's very important not to grow complacent and be prepared to fight right to Election Day (and beyond).

4. This Ain't HBO, This Is Show Time
Kerry is getting into the zone. After once again making everyone underestimate him (how does he do that?), he is coming into the home stretch.

If Clinton was the Comeback Kid, Kerry is the Comeback King!
