Is Bush's UN Democracy Fund a sneaky way to pay for Iraq?
In his speach to the UN, read like a 12 year old trying to get every word read right, he asked for the creation of a UN Democracy Fund, which would pay for:

"polls, election officials, outside observers, free press and other mechanisms needed for a working democracy."

Does this seem to be nothing more than a front for paying off Iraq and Afghani costs that we can't/won't afford? I can see the UN seeing through this and saying "Non!" and Bush then stumping on the campaign, "Hey, I tried to get the UN to help democracy, but they refused. They could have helped in Iraqistan, but they didn't. They could have helped in Afghanistan, but they didn't. the UN is anti-US and anti-democracy.

3. BUt where would he go? Who would accept him, except
the New Independent Christian State of South Carolina?
That, and parts of Texas?

5. That works for me. They can have him.
As long as he's out of the White House! He can go straight to meet his maker, for all I care. IMHO, Bush has a whole helluva lot of 'splaining to do!

4. But what was the call for UN Demo - Fund all about?
Notice, in his reading, he never specifically asked for help in Iraq. It was a general call to democratic arms.

I suspect that this Bogus UN Democracy Fund is his way to get $$$ for Iraq. Without having to seem like he and his crew were so wrong 2 yrs ago.

6. Or kinda' like the NED through which money has been funnelled to overthrow
democratically-elected leaders who failed to "ho" to American corporations?
