6. Does this mean we're a country full of Flip Floppers?
Or maybe, on seeing the disaster we've created, we're finally coming to our senses?

8. I voted "yes" but hindsight has nothing to do with it
Millions of us knew it was a mistake at the time and said so, loudly. The press seems to be the only entity that is confused about this.

9. Notice the phrase "in hindsight"
As if no one questioned Bush's War in the first place, and now its all a matter of second guessing.

Bullshit. Millions new Bush's War was wrong before the first shot was fired. But the infotainment industry, folks like CNN, ignored us.

It was wrong then, and it has been proven to be a catastrophe.

16. No shit
I don't like how people are saying "in hindsight" or even the word "mistake".

Bust still contends that it was the right thing to do. He says that even with hindsight he would do everything again the same way.

And besides, even if it was a simple matter of a "mistake", I cannot for give Bush. Over 1,000 of our troops are dead, as well as thousands of Iraqis that we "liberated", all because of Bush's bullshit war. He repeatedly and knowingly lied and used forgeries to build up support for this war.

That goes way beyond "mistake".

10. yes at 62%
Obviously it was a mistake to invade Iraq without UN approval. The fact that 38% believe otherwise is just plain scary.

I just hope this kind of result happens on 11/02/04 ...

They should do a special followup poll for those who voted No... Something along the lines of "In hindsight, do you watch FOX NEWS?" =)

21. because the polls are bogus
they poll more repubs than they do Dems.

They also aren't polling newly registered people.

22. It's a misleading poll...
as if getting the backing of the U.N. Sec Council would have made a difference.

It was a bad idea, period.

25. Only C-SPAN
Cared enough about dissent in this country that they showed several of the protest rallies.
I recorded all of the ones they aired. And the people who showed up to participate was unbelievable. Hundred of thousands of people. In DC they filled up the Mall area.

So, it's only Hindsight that the cable news refused to acknowledge that they were only interested in their Profits. As some of you may recall it was the cable news programs helping to push the war on us. And who was advertising during this time. i remember seeing Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Kerr McGee, etc.

At the time I thought it was a telling sign that the defense contractors were buying air-time on the news programs. I thought that they were trying to sell 'Me' weapons. But me being relative poor I knew that I probably wasn't the one they were targeting for a purchase.

Last point anybody who did dissent was called unAmerican, unpatriotic, blame America firsters.
