12. Exactly. They weren't counting on the continued unravelling...
... of the situation on the ground in Iraq. They were certain that the phony handover of "sovereignty" would wipe their slate clean.

5. Ugh.. Just repeated his new spin.."My opponent said yesterday..
the world is better off with Saddam in power...." :puke: This was his response to a question about Kerry's remarks yesterday.

Edited on Tue Sep-21-04 12:36 PM by flpoljunkie
He is "Unfit to Command." What remaining crediblity Bush has is due solely to our lazy, corrrupt and compliant media.

15. Bush cherrypicks the CIA. Always has. Always will.
So, am I supposed to feel confident about the situation in Iraq and our own safety here at home, when the President accuses his own intelligence organization of "guessing"?????

I think this is huge.

6. Iraqi Media: "What do you think of Allawi's visit to America?"
Bush: "First, I'm glad to be able to look him in the eye. I want to thank him for his courage."

Maybe Chimpers will see into Allawi's "soul," too. :eyes:

9. Ooooh!!! GOOD Reuters question!! Bush is delusional!!
Edited on Tue Sep-21-04 01:01 PM by VolcanoJen
ON EDIT: Rewound the Tivo so I could get this word-for-word. Bush's response to this question is revealing.

Reuters: "Why do you think the CIA's assessment of conditions in Iraq are so much at odds with the optimism that you and Mr. Allawi are expressing?"

Bush: (looking incredibly annoyed; smirking wildly): "The CIA layed out several scenarios. Life could be lousy, life could be ok, life could be better. They were just, uhhh... guessing at what the conditions might be like. Uhhh, the Iraqi citizens are defying their pessimistic predictions. The Iraqi citizens are headed toward free elections. This government has been in place for uhh, a little over two months. And Iraqi citizens are seeing a determined effort by responsible citizens to lead to a more hopeful tomorrow. And, uhhh, I'm optimistic we'll succeed."

OMFG. :puke:

17. Bush accuses CIA of "guessing."
This should be the lead on the evening news. It's a landmark comment. It won't even make the news, of course.

How can Bush insist "America is safer" when the other side of his mouth blabbers on about how he doesn't trust the CIA's "pessimism"?

WTF????

20. That's exactly why I'm looking forward to the debates.
Chimpy can't think on his feet, and my hope is that he'll make a huge blunder like this during the debates.

When he does (because he will fuck up), Kerry should rip his throat out.

I'm really looking forward to the debates....Of course no matter how well Kerry does, the media will end up saying he didn't come across as friendly as Bush....I'm so sick of hearing how warm and fuzzy Bush is!....To me he comes across as trying WAY TO HARD to be ingratiating...He has mean eyes.

29. Delusional, delusional, delusional. Bush and Allawi are nuts.
How can there be elections when there is no security? How can people even register to vote without getting blown up?

Bush has no chance of getting any help from Europe to make the situation secure. How many more will die because of his arrogance and delusions of grandeur????

:grr:
