Could xenophobia undermine FOX news?
It seems like the FOX News base audience is a fairly xenophobic bunch, and probably more likely to be racist than other organizations. If it was beaten into their impressionable little heads, would pointing out the fact that FOX is basically just a transmission of Rupert Murdocks brainwaves from Australia help combate the network's influence, or is it just too late for those people?

1. It's too late
Don't worry yourself about it. From what I hear, all cable news channels have a relatively small market share.

What I would worry more about is uninformed voters. Where is the average voter getting his/her information about the candidates? Are they getting information or do they just base their vote on a few sound bytes?

2. I don't think it would help...(m)
Australians look like us and have cool accents. That really doesn't appeal much in terms of racism and xenophobia. Now if Rupert Murdock were from Thailand or Nigeria you might be able to use this as an option.

4. Rupert is white and a US citizen now
You'd get a more xenophobic response about a certain governor from Austria.
