I found this at the blog, and I was so impressed! It sounds like such a passionate cry for help in an area that is really Democrat and does not vote that way. If anyone is in those areas, make contact. There was a cell-phone # listed for the author, but I won't post that.
Fellow Democrats!
We are a grassroots organization in Brooksville, Florida. We want to
motivate the youth of this key county to vote for Kerry by putting on a
couple of free admission shows spotlighting local rap talent. We will be
giving prizes for the four best Pro-Kerry raps, and giving T-shirts to this
talented group of youngsters to go door to door in this 85% democratic
precinct to get out the vote! We need all the help we can get.
Paul has everything in place to mount a really effective GOTV effort, a high
profile HQ in the heart of the community, a list of energetic young
volunteers, listings of registered voters in the community, and a lot of
drive, but NO money.
The African-American community in Brooksville is connected by strong family
ties to communities in Dade City, Trilcoochee, Zephyrhills, Crystal River,
Inverness, Webster, Ocala, and descendants of Rosewood who settled in the
area around Lacoochiee. Any grassroots work done here would quickly spread
to these other communities.
A little funding and encouragement will pay back big dividends from Paul's
Get-Out-The-Vote House project in this 85% Democratic community! If you are not in a position to help , please pass this plea on to someone
you think might help.

Here is a snip from a St. Pete Times article I found this Paul Boston.

This is an area of Florida that is voting against their best interests because no one is talking to them, no one is considering these smaller cities that viable. Please help if you can.
