Kerry on Letterman last night - rating beat Leno.

Kerry doing well on Regis.

RNC kicker Scott Robinson - maybe legal action from protestor he kicked?

Many Dems on nes shows kicking butt today.

DNC smacking down * on everything.

I read only 2 press conferences from WH?? They are scared!!!

I just feel a good vibe today. Anyone else?

3. Well, the TANG story is dead now....
Edited on Tue Sep-21-04 05:45 PM by RandomKoolzip
Replaced by the "CBS apologizes for being liberal" story.

And even if Kerry wins, we still got 40% of the country hooked on Xian fundamentalism.

And an American was filmed being beheaded in Iraq.

But apart from those three things, yeah, today has been all right. NOW! If we can find out exactly who from the Bush campaign leaked the "questionable" memoes to Burkett, we'll be psyched.

7. At the very least....
We have lots of funny pictures of Roger Stone floating around, which we should and shall pass to our "family values" friends as examples of republicans who share their values. So that's cool.

11. Let's give up the memo nonsense.
Kerry is kicking ass and the memo non- story is just more distracting BS.

9. I'd feel better if the cable newsers weren't clamoring to connect
Lockhart & the Democrats & Kerry to CBS News and memogate though. But I must say that we've been extremely vigorous in our defense!

When (before the speech yesterday) has Kerry EVER gotten that much unbroken cable coverage? I could barely concentrate on what he was saying worrying that it would cut away at any moment

18. Just to keep the smile on your face

Faking it: (Thanks to Mary Anne Mayo in CT) George W. was asked what he thought about Roe v. Wade. He said he thought it was just about the most important decision George Washington had to make before crossing the Delaware.

14. Bless Pres. Clinton's heart--figuratively and literally! He told
Kerry he had to fight hard against this machine, even while his own health was suffering. He preferred to emphasize this, even when he was supposed to be plugging his book, e.g., on The Daily Show. He is a better RETIRED public servant than nearly all of the ACTIVE Republicans.

Looks as though the strategery for doing so is working!

20. Real Support for Our Troops
Did anyone see this yet???

Its a Blue Ribbon basically in response to the Yellow Ribbons you see on almost every car lately... What's your opinion. i think its worth a look.

This is from their website: www.troopsribbon.com

Why we did this
Like the majority of citizens in this country, in light of the fact that over 1000 troops have been killed in battle, the most appropriate way to support our troops is to bring them home as soon as possible. Our troops should be out of harms way back in the United States with their families. The death of American forces should and can be avoided.

In addition, for many of us the yellow "Support our Troops" ribbon does not accurately represent the generalized feeling of Americans to support soldiers at war. Over the course of the past year, a need for an additional voice has become clear. There is room for a new message.

Our goal is to create an alternative and supporting voice. Yes we support our troops, but simply put, we want our loved ones home as soon as possible. We created the Blue Ribbon to voice this opinion.

27. Even better
Check out electoral-vote.com, Bush has dropped from the 300s to 256, Arkansas, Florida, and Maryland are tied, Kerry is in a dead heat with Bush in Ohio, Colorado, and New Jersey and he just pulled ahead in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Iowa, and Kerry currently has 239 votes. We can win this!!!
