so is Bush mad at the CIA for "guessing?"
Is anyone going to get FIRED for "guessing" about something so vital to our national security?

Is he going to lauch an investigation into how we could have reached such an abysmal level of confidence in the CIA? Or did he already, since they communicated their guess to him months ago?

Or does Bush have a different definition of guessing? Maybe to him, anything not handed down to him from God or Karl Rove is a guess.

5. Bush guessed Iraq had WMD
And today claimed he was enforcing something or other with "serious consequences" ... as if he had removed the non-existant threat of Iraqi WMD ...

2. Lou Dobbs was incredulous that he would actually question a report
from an agency that he thought was so good that he relied on them to make the case for the Iraq war. I like Lou - he know's that 2+2 still equals four! What a damned hypocrite Dumbya is.

6. It's become very obvious that our Military, AG, and Executive along
with Sharon and Bandar are running this country. And they're trying to run the world.

They're not going to investiate themselves and they are going to avoid Intelligence or Congress or the GAO to interfere.

In other words, they're running another secret sub-government.

But they're having problems keeping it secret.

8. Of course not
Because this administration NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER takes its lumps gracefully. No, this one will most likely end up being chalked up to Bill Clinton's penis.

13. It's not a guess, Bush-boy
Predictive intelligence always--always!--assumes that there could be a best-case and a worst-case scenario. Sometimes you get a middle-of-the-road one too.

In this situation, best-case is "lessening resistance," MOR is "current levels of resistance," and worst-case is "if it gets any worse than it is now." Most people wouldn't handle "Iraqi resistance fighters beating swords into plowshares and throwing flowers at our troops" the same way as "the Iraqis have started using Punji spikes." Bush is in charge, so who knows what he'll do.
