Debate prep 101. Step 1: Let the candidate get some rest. Don't run him
into the ground between now and the first debate.

Heads up campaign event organizers. Turn down some gigs. It is more important for John Kerry to go into that first debate well rested and well prepared, than it is to make every last appearance in every hamlet in the country.

If Kerry gives his stump speech as often this week than he did last week, that will have been a mistake, IMO.
