On Point Radio: Buchanan Tearing Dim Son Another One
Edited on Tue Sep-21-04 06:21 PM by Xipe Totec
On air right now on WBUR

Buchanan condemns * for not being a true conservative. Just called him a Wilsonian. Said his policies amount to naked imperialism.

I hate the man, but I like what he's saying right now.

Sick 'em, Pat! :bounce:

(on edit)

He's hawking his new book, "Where the Right Went Wrong"

2. I'm just not sure what to make of Pat "Sieg Heil!" Buchanan
If I'm getting this correct, he doesn't think that * is far enough to the right? Wow. I didn't think * could fly any more to starboard than he already is.

3. He's trying to Salvage Reagan Conservatism
By separating it from Neo Conservatism. Good luck! :eyes:

But as long as he's blasting the Shrub, I don't care what rock he crawled out of.

4. Nah, he's just drawing the distinction
between Conservative and Neo-Conservative.

5. Wilsonianism is to Bushism as a fig leaf is to a suit of clothes.

Dubya does not need a fig leaf, he needs a banana leaf to hide that much shame! (which is your point)

And thanks for the discrete spelling correction "Wilsonianism", not "Wilsonism" :hi:

7. you should have seen him on the Daily Show
last week. anyone thinks this guy has any integrity at all is making a mistake; buckanon nearly chokes on his own hypocrisy..
BUT again - that he's attacking the big killers still suggests he maybe aware of the evil 2 generations of constant lies have bequeathed the political system (buckanon was a lying liar fer nixon 35 years ago)

8. Buchanan is a Scary Guy, No Doubt
But the point here is that EVERYBODY is distancing themselves from the Dim Son. They're getting outside the hurl radius before he tosses his cookies. The first commentator to turn against Bush was George F. Will. The next wave was the fiscal conservatives. Now it's the paleoconservatives. Bush's support base is shrinking to just the fundies. I've already heard speculation that if Bush loses the Republican party is going to implode and jettison the fundies as the scapegoats for this colossal failure.

10. Not quite. At end, says he still votes for *. Its the old Party Line trick
You know, what they would say when caught in a scandal:

"hese "wreckers" are not real communists. If only Comrade Stalin
would stop listening to them (wrings hands). Individual Communists
can be mistaken or flawed, but The Party is never wrong."

Buchanan whines and begs for Bush to be a good Republcian.

He can go F--- himself. He is just a smart fascist instead of a
stupid one.

arendt

P.S. Tom Ashbrook is a libertarian shill who still doesn't get that
he has been used by the neocons.
