Major shift - the Pres was SUCCESSFUL in painting opponents of healthcare as fiscally irresponsible

I've watched enough this morning to see a shift in the way Repubs are presenting themselves and healthcare. THIS IS A MAJOR VICTORY!!!

This is a winning frame and the Dems have to pound this drum hard. It took away their major (Repubs) talking point about how we can't afford to do this at this time.

1. Obama was forceful when he said he wouldn't sign the bill if it increased the deficit.
It wouldn't happen is more like what he said but we got the point.

He demolished the RW argument with that flatfooted statement. Even Joe Scar had to say that if he did that he would have to look at the reform bill again.

Scar was obviously not prepared to hear Obama say that. He had his diatribe all planned and Obama pulled the rug out from under him.

Heh. I love it...
