Senator Biden just told Paula Zann off. Tell the truth, Bush and everybody
else. Said * didn't tell the UN the truth. He is tough, I've seen him a couple of times, he sounds like Dean.

2. Damn, I missed it.
He is very tough, and definitely represents Kerry well when he is on with the pundits. He hits very hard and comes off very credible and sincere.

6. Ohhh it was good
Biden ended up pointing his pen at the camera (hence Paula) and letting it all hang out. It was delicious. Paula was flabbergasted.

Evidently somebody's been passing out balls at party meetings. Finally!! Biden can be pretty emphatic, too -- anybody see how he nearly lunged across the table at Asscroft during a Senate hearing? Very cool.

21. Isn't it sweet, when a perky blonde
can attack a career military vet and get away with it, while at the same time convincing the world that she supports our troops, because she's such a good BushBot.

it helps when you have facts on your side.

11. Biden earned my total respect when he clenched his teeth
and just about went over the table when dressing down "General" Ashcroft a few months ago.

I'll never forget that exchange.

17. I'd like to see Biden debate some dipshit like Hannity on Iraq
Biden doesn't seem to take any shit when he's on these talk shows and the hosts generally respect what he has to say. Kerry needs to get him out more. He comes off as somewhat intimidating, but sincere.

22. He was great on Good Morning America as well!
It was so funny he was using this pleading voice... begging the President to own up to the problems in Iraq. Barely gave ole Charlie Gibson any time to get the Puke talking points in. It was great!

Keep rolling Biden out there... he's on fire!

23. Joe Biden's always been a favorite of mine
I was really upset when they nailed him on that stupid college plagiarism charge back in '88 during the primaries.

(For any young folks who were too young to remember: 1988 saw some really great statesmen in the running for the nomination: Gary Hart and Joe Biden were both knocked out by scandals. The others were Jesse Jackson, Gephardt, and Paul Simon, good men all. Dukakis won out, but had no chance against the nastiness of Bush I.)

24. Aaaahhhh, two of my favorite people, together, in one show
Paula Zahn, the air head former mistress of Poppy Bush and Roger Ayles, and Joe Biden, the neolib imperialist that still thinks the Cold War is on.

I am glad I missed watching them, which I would have anyway since I think Debra Norville has a better show on MSNBC on the same time slot as Zahn

...he was a big Chimpo cheerleader during the lead-up to the Iraq war. He has a ways to go before I'll trust him again.

30. Maybe it varies with different time zones,...
...but on the east coast, Zahn on CNN is opposite Mr. Olbermann on MSNBC, not Ms. Norville. Larry King is on opposite Ms. Norville.

If that is the case, I thought he could nominate someone (another dem.) if Biden would be given a position like Sec. of Defense.

27. Anything about Iran?
I've been out of town for a few days and just catching up on news... has anything been said about a preemptive stike in Iran? (by either Kerry's camp or AWOL's?) I thought it might be a good thing for Kerry to talk about. There is no way the voting public (unless it really is dumber than I think) would go for TWO preemptive wars...

31. Oh, Biden has been pretty blunt for some time.
Ripping people extra orifices is something of a hobby for him. He had a cordial relationship with mean old Jesse Helms when the latter was chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, but Biden had no qualms about eviscerating witnesses, members of the press, or fellow politicians.

35. I've been very impressed with Biden on the road for Kerry
he's surprisingly passionate speaking, very tough, very clear, and definetly what we need.

I'm glad he and Kerry are good friends. He'll definetly deserve a cabniet seat.
