13. How is supporting cancer patients distracting? Do ribbons and the Flag on
his lapel bother you too?

14. Yes, Kerry had prostate cancer
I'll never forget the time I saw him at a press conference and as he was about to step up on stage someone must have asked him about his surgery and his answer was with a chuckle...yeah, they cut my aloofness gland out!! :bounce:

11. I got a bunch for the kids and they wanted me to wear one too
The thought is nice, and it gets kids thinking about causes.

12. I like Bill Clinton's bracelet better.
It's woven from red and blue cord. He said some schoolchildren in Colombia gave it to him.

I wanted to order one for myself, and thought for sure www.northernsun.com would have them, but they don't. At least not yet.

Hey, I saw Sheryl Crow last week with Kerry in Madison.

Coincidence. I don't think so. :->

18. I wear one too
A couple of people at work have cancer, and the one person's son bought a whole load of the bracelets for a buck and sold them for two, to benefit his dad.

I thought it was quite neat when I noticed it on Kerry. Took me a minute to realize why he was wearing it though.

20. I wear mine every day.
Supposedly Bush has one, too, though I've never seen him wear it. Several Olympic athletes wore them while they competed.

They're really hot here in Austin. And they're on back-order at the LAF website.

22. I ordered mine during the Tour De France
and they just got here this past weekend. Something like six weeks plus. My son was especially jazzed since they're the cool thing at school and it was his first soccer game this past Saturday. Same with my niece.
