NEXT WEEK KERRYS NUMBERS GO UP
I have been saying this since Sunday and mark my work...you will see Kerrys poll numbers go up next week and there after. This memogate will not affect him.

What do others think?

3. Joe Lockhart is now involved in Memogate as well as the Kerry...
campaign. Look, things are going well for Kerry now but if Lockhart becomes a liability because of his connections to this story, then he will have to BOW OUT just as Ben Ginsberg did after the SwiftBoat Liars scam.

I want Kerry to win and we have to be careful. Things are swinging in our direction after a month and a half and I don't want to see things screwed up.

4. Kerry should just denounce the new swift boad ad and get back to issues
If he does that, we will win.

10. He needs to come out and slam it himself immediately.
He was talking to both sides (so was our government) about our POWs.

7. I don't think Lockhart will be a problem.
Especially if those memos get linked to Stone and then to Rove.

8. Advertising
Could the whole momentum thing - for lack of a better term - be solely due to the fact that Bu*h and Co. advertised all of August and had their convention early September while Kerry was completely off the air and really out of the news? If so, Bu*h's high numbers were obtained immediately after the Repuke convention and have no where to go but down now that Kerry is back advertising.

Just my opinion, others thoughts?

13. That will not pan out
Lockhart talked to Burkett ONLY about something else, not the memos. Someone needs to google and find the story.

6. Agreed. You can feel the momentum shifting back to Kerry.
I remember the feeling in the Iowa caucus when Dean was losing it and Kerry and Edwards were gaining it. You could also feel it in August when Kerry was losing the big MO.

The press is also giving him much more favorable coverage because of his stand on Iraq now.

Gillespie was everywhere this afternoon trying to stir up the memogate crap but I don't see it really effecting Kerry either. Although you know all the RW hacks are going to try to flog it and try to connect it to Kerry - we can't actually talk about real issues like Iraq (that is their view).

9. I agree - the Republican who posted here he would vote for Kerry
because he laid out a viable strategy for Iraq made me think that there are still some moderate Republicans out there. Let's pray they see the light before it's too late.

12. You heard it here first: If he's within 5 on Nov 1 we win by 1 or 2%
in a close electoral contest. Tied we win handily. 1 or 2 ahead, it's a 300+ EV blowout.

14. I'm feeling good
Kerry is doing his famous tough endgame.

The thing the Bushies feared was that Kerry is a candidate who came from behind in the primaries. I hear, but don;t know details, that this is a pattern with his Senate races, too.

Does he conciously pace himself so he can sprint at the end of the race?

16 years (at least) of Democratic Presidents!!!

You're totally right: if he's stays on message, barring disaster child-molester allegations he wins.
