Let's help to pull off major coup...Defeat Delay..he is vulnerable
DeLay's Top Aides Indicted on Felony Counts of Money Laundering
Two of Tom DeLay's most senior aides were indicted on felony counts of money laundering by a Travis County, Texas Grand Jury. James Ellis, director of DeLay's Americans for a Republican Majority PAC and John Colyandro, of DeLay's Texans for a Republican Majority PAC each face up to 99 years in prison.

Eight corporations including Bacardi, Sears Roebuck, and Cracker Barrell were also indicted for illegally funneling almost $600,000 in corporate funds into TRMPAC. Richard Morrison needs your help to fight the corporate special interests who fund DeLay. Please click here to contribute:

The corruption began three years ago when DeLay and his top political aides founded TRMPAC with the explicit goal of raising corporate money to influence state legislative races. Texas law clearly forbids corporations from financing political campaigns and from purchasing favors from elected officials. By the 2002 election cycle, TRMPAC had achieved its goal and had nearly $600,000 in corporate contributions in its coffers. The majority of funds came from corporations located in states other than Texas and many had regulatory and policy interests in Washington.
Among the corporations TRMPAC and DeLay solicited was the now defunct Enron. In 2001, DeLay specifically requested hundreds of thousands of dollars in contributions from Enron executives for his efforts in Texas redistricting, in exchange for assistance with the industry’s deregulation legislation in Washington.

If you've had enough of Tom DeLay bending the rules, please contribute and help Richard Morrison kick him out of office at this link: http://www.morrisonfor22.com/contribute/contribute.php

thank you so much,

Kyle Johnston, Campaign Manager
Morrison for Congress

1. Bacardi? Isn't that the same company that had that little thingie
with Jeb Bush? Bacardi gets around. Has Ron Cortez or Carta Vieja made it to the U.S. mainland yet?

2. Absolutely
Texas...come to your senses.

Things are getting mighty ugly, and uglier is on the horizon in the Lone Star State.

Remember the Alamo, San Jacinto, and that girl from eighth- grade...reclaim your lost glory.

3. Other contributors to DeLay are....
Williams Companies...a natural gas company of Houston and Tulsa and Westar Energy, who each contributed $20K. The Alliance for Quality Nursing Home Care gave $100K. Alliance "represents" 14 nursing home chains which collectively care for 200,000 patients.

One has to wonder what contributors feel they will get for their money. I can understand the two energy companies. Now that Cracker Barrel has quit firing gay employees, I don't know what Tom DeLay could do for them, except maybe help stop the boycott now of their chain by the American Family Association, mad because CB quit discriminating. What does Bacardi want from "born again" Southern Baptist DeLay...to switch the communion "wine" from Welch's fresh grape juice to the real booze that Jesus probably drank and enjoyed?
