Edited on Wed Sep-22-04 08:54 AM by Teaser
Of course we're not barely winning New York...

http://www.surveyusa.com/2004_Elections/NY040921president.pdf

headline: Kerry Still Safe in Empire State, Leads Bush by 16 Pts, 42 Days Out.

55 to 39.

What's Chicken Little gon' say to that?

7. Heh! Really!
I mean, if friggin' New York can't trust Bush's War on Terra, why can anyone else?

6. SUSA is a CRAP poll, sure...
but their main flaw seems to be that they oversample black republicans. So if we do well in a CRAP poll, things look pretty good for us.

Anyhow, if a poll fits in with what you know about the state, one should accord it a little more trust. We know New York is safe dem, so this poll is in line with that knowledge.

Just like I know PA is a close state, and the latest ARG numbers show a 1% Kerry lead. That sounds right.

3. I think it was a plot to panic the Kerry camp
into spending their time and money where they didn't have to. That's why the polls went bonkers after the GOP convention, and that's why you are now seeing stories about Kerry not appealing to women woters.

5. Bawk bawk baaaaaawk!
Color me not surprised. The sampling for most of the polls that have been so hotly debated here has been atrocious. Despite the obvious skew, we have managed to lead or at least stay within the MOE pretty consistently. That ought to tell the coop-dwellers something...
