Instead of 30 years ago, I mean the war going on NOW, not the one thirty years ago. I mean, we could continue arguing about the past, when we should be talking about the FUTURE. Or perhaps we could argue over healthcare 30 years ago, instead of debating it today. Maybe it would be wise to argue over Bush v. Kerry's military record, even though it has cost us fifteen points (Depending on what polls you looked at)

Problem with that idea is that the GOP refuse to discuss the future - and the media takes the vague platitudes, and the unprovable assertions that are also not disprovable as they are just used to cover one more plan to reduce the burden of government on the rich, as pretend plans, and says to Kerry what would you do that is different.

When he tells them, it is too detailed and they say they can not understand it (although the experts on the media staff understand they do not give input to the political writers).

When Kerry tries to keep it simple, Bush yells - Flip/Flop - he is using different words - and the media reports "flip/flop"

As long as the media is as lazy, as stupid, as biased in favor of the GOP due to right wing editors controlling via the paycheck and face time, the future will not be discussed.

We may as well discuss suit color choices and who is more fun to drink with, and indeed, we will.
