Why didn't the media go after the Swift Boat lies the same way...
they pursued the memo controversy. Maybe the silver lining will be Rove's involvement? but if anything proves who the media wants to win it is this. They broadcast every swift boat lie without really investigating and yet when Bush's "record" in the Guard is questioned they were ready to disprove it immediately. Media bias is rampant and how the people of this country can't see it proves is beyond belief.

9. When your answer doesn't fit the question, the answer is wrong
I used to wonder why Bush seemed to trash the little people and pay so little regard to the populace. It amde no sense. As soon as the answer changd to "because he's for corporations first", all of his actions are explained.

Same thing with the media. Instead of "they should be fair and impartial, why aren't they", the answer is "Because only a handful of large corporations control the media, have connections in Iraq and other countries, pay huge amounts of money to lobby for their BUSINESS, and want the status quo, not someone who will break up their monopoly".

3. Simple...
This is about the "media".

They just looooove to talk about themselves, and their enormous importance to the country.

This story will get huge play because it's all about them!

4. well they did...
they loved having the swift boats asses on ....to detract from Kerry's convention bounce..but it wasn't FOR kerry it was FOR bush..like most media...they are PRO BUSH..so we had 3 weeks straight of swift boat stories...and now 2 weeks and counting on memo's...doens't leave much time to report on the mess we have in Iraq..or that our "president" is a liar...does it?
